More

Matthew Dainty is a concept-driven Creative Director whose work has had a lasting influence on contemporary visual culture.

As Vice President of Creative at Salomon, he led a transformative brand evolution, overseeing a full visual and strategic relaunch in 2023 that redefined its global identity.

Previously, as Co-founder and Creative Director of Cottweiler, Dainty was instrumental in redefining the intersection of contemporary fashion and performance sportswear. Under his leadership, the label earned widespread acclaim, receiving the International Woolmark Prize, being shortlisted for the LVMH Prize, recognised by the GQ Fashion Fund, and nominated four times for the British Fashion Award.

Cottweiler's long-standing collaboration with Reebok brought international recognition, celebrated for its forward-thinking product design and distinctive visual language. Their debut as special guest designers at Pitti Uomo 91 marked a key milestone in the brand's global impact.

Throughout his career, Dainty has created compelling, multi-platform campaigns—leading creative direction across print, digital, and social—for global brands, artists, musicians, and live productions.

His work has been exhibited and featured by leading cultural institutions including the Institute of Contemporary Arts (London), Haus der Kunst (Munich), The Design Museum (London), and the Uffizi Gallery (Florence). He is regularly featured in publications such as Vogue, The New York Times, British GQ, Le Monde, Dazed & Confused, and i-D Magazine.
